Nutra+ (“we”, “the app”) is a nutrition and fitness tracking app (package com.nutraplus.app). This policy explains what information we process and why.

1. Data we collect

On your device (local storage / IndexedDB):

• Profile details you enter (for example, age, sex, height, weight, goals, daily schedule)
• Meals, workouts, water intake, weight logs, sleep-related logs you create
• Food memory/cache used to speed up logging
• App settings (for example, meal reminder preferences)

If you choose to sign in (optional):

• Account email and authentication data via Supabase Auth
• The same health/nutrition logs may sync to our Supabase backend so you can restore them on another device
• If you use Google sign-in, Google may share your basic account profile (such as email) with us for authentication

Food analysis / AI lookups:

• Typed food descriptions you submit for nutrition estimation may be sent to our secure Supabase edge function and processed by providers such as USDA FoodData Central and/or Google Gemini
• We do not require photos for typed food logging
• Queries and results may be cached to improve speed and reduce cost

Voice input (optional):

• If you use microphone logging, speech is processed by your device / operating system speech services
• We do not upload raw audio recordings to our servers

Subscriptions / purchases:

• Purchases are processed by Google Play
• We may use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements (for example Pro access and free-trial eligibility)
• We do not receive or store your full payment card details

Notifications (optional):

• If you enable meal reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device
• Reminder content stays on-device unless you also sync related settings while signed in

2. How we use data

• Provide calorie, macro, and micronutrient tracking and daily progress
• Personalize goals and plans based on information you enter
• Sync and restore data when you sign in
• Estimate nutrition for foods you look up
• Manage subscriptions and unlock Pro features
• Schedule reminders you request
• Maintain and improve reliability (including caching)

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share data with service providers only as needed to run the app:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and edge functions
• Google — Gemini (food nutrition estimates) and Google sign-in if you choose it
• USDA FoodData Central — public nutrition reference data
• RevenueCat — subscription / entitlement management
• Google Play — billing and subscription processing

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

4. Retention and deletion

• Local data remains on your device until you clear app storage or uninstall the app
• If you are signed in, you can delete your account from Profile → Delete account, which removes synced account data and the auth user (subject to normal backup retention on our infrastructure)
• Cached food lookups may be retained for performance and cost control and are not used to sell personal profiles

5. Children

Nutra+ is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app or create an account if you are under 13. Google Play listing age targeting may be set higher (for example 16+ or 18+).

6. Security

We use industry-standard protections appropriate for an app of this type (HTTPS for network requests, access controls on backend services). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your choices

• Use the app without signing in (data stays on-device)
• Sign in only if you want cloud sync/backup
• Disable meal reminders in settings / system notification settings
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play
• Delete local data by clearing app storage or uninstalling
• Delete a signed-in account from Profile → Delete account

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
